2 months away from the ICS – Import Control System - deadline in Europe and KSD are on track with 29 countries!

Carriers are now fully aware that the European Security Zone will be implemented on 1 January 2011 and many  shipping lines have so far signed with KSD.

The KSD Security Control System (SCS), including ICS – Import Control System – is well advanced and especially our dashboard functionality is very popular with customers. This offers the opportunity of filing the security information to the countries they need and can be used manually for companies with fairly low shipment volumes. It is easy to access via your web browser, very user-friendly and includes many help functions to support our customers processes. Many of our customers will also use our Dashboard as an add-on to the interface they have with us. For example to file the Arrival Notification (AN) or Diversion Requests (DIV) via our Dashboard but perform the high volume filings such as Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) and Amendments (AMD) through the interface to gain maximum efficiency and accuracy.
